Printing on skincare bottles is a sophisticated and intricate process used to create vibrant, multi-colored designs on glass surfaces. Flint glass, known for its high clarity and brilliance, serves as an excellent medium for screen printing, allowing the colors to stand out sharply and vividly.

The process begins with the inspection of the flint glass, ensuring it is clean and free of any cosmetic defects that could affect the final print quality. Once the glass is approved, a screen is created for each color that will be applied. These screens are heated and the melted ink to passes through thereby creating the desired image or pattern on the glass.

In a five-color screen print, five different screens are used, one for each color in the design. Each color is applied one at a time, with precise alignment to ensure that the colors register correctly with each other. This requires meticulous attention to detail, as even a slight misalignment can distort the final image.

After applying each layer of color, the ink dries quickly before the next color is applied. This step-by-step layering of colors builds up the final design, creating a rich and dynamic visual effect. Once all the colors have been applied, the ink is fully cured by firing the decorated vessel at approximately 1,100 degrees centigrade.This causes the ink to fuse with the glass and thereby creating a long lasting and durable label that can not scuff or tear.
