KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate all activities pertaining to the printing of customer orders from the point of sale to production.
  • Coordinate between the Sales, Art, Production, Shipping & Accounting Departments.
  • Ensure the job order matches the client’s specifications.
  • Track project milestones, ensuring clients’ project requirements and delivery schedules are met.
  • Provide job orders to Production on time and with 100% accuracy.
  • Coordinate with outside partners and vendors.
  • Update and maintain the ERP database.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree
  • 3-5 years of previous customer service/account management/project management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and phone etiquette.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Upbeat and positive personality with a can-do attitude.

Work Environment

  • This is an onsite position, and the CSR is expected to work at the company’s office daily.
  • Occasional travel to client locations/trade shows is required.

  • Previous experience in the printing industry.
  • A strong interest in the wine and beverage industry.

Salary starts at $70,000 and is commensurate with experience. It includes healthcare (Kaiser, dental, and vision), a 401(k) with company match, PTO, and holiday pay.

 

Monvera Glass Decoration (www.monvera.com) is a leading supplier of glass decoration services to the wine, beverage, and beauty industries. We are seeking an additional Quality Control Manager to support our continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving quality control targets by planning, supervising, and monitoring quality control across multiple projects while supervising the quality control team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with quality control and/or quality assurance in a manufacturing and/or printing environment, outstanding communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with and manage execution across multiple teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily management of the quality control team across the AM and PM shifts.
• Work with sales and customer service to implement specific customer QC requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and liaise with the production team.
• Visit with clients to review delivered products and monitor performance on the bottling line.
• Prepare internal and external reports such as NCRs and CARs. Identify and implement appropriate resolutions.
• Work with the quality assurance manager on maintaining and implementing our GMPs, SOPs, and IIPPs across the organization.
• Shift supervision during weekend overtime as required.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, chemical, or a related field.
• 5 plus years of experience in quality control/quality assurance.
• Proven ability to lead, train,n and coach direct reports.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; demonstrated experience gathering and manipulating data to answer questions and solve problems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills in-person, by phone/video call, and by email. Ability to build relationships across the organization and client base.
• Willingness and ability to learn industry-specific knowledge.
• General proficiency in Excel and Google workspace applications. Experience using MRP/ERP software (Netsuite).
• An interest in continuous education

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work takes place in a warehouse/production environment, with most of the time spent on the floor working with the QC teams and overseeing production output.
• This is a hands-on position, and the QC Manager is expected to fully participate in the company’s QC process.
• Onsite travel to client locations is required as necessary.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-4 years of experience in glass manufacturing operations and/or printing industry
• Bi-lingual speaking
